Visualizing Sound

Each student in the class was assigned at random a sound. The objective was to visualize and design a 2D abstract depiction of that sound, avoiding literary factors. The 2nd part of this project was to create a 2D solution with the implementation of motion. 

The annoying fly was my assigned sound. My process included listening consistently to the sound of a fly buzzing, sketching, and researching abstract art and color palettes. My color palette was referenced from the beautiful and bright colors of the fly that typically go unnoticed. I was inspired by the shape of the eyes and the fast inconsistent movement.
